Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This page explains how to make a request and what to expect.

1. Overview

Grape Dawn respects your right to have your personal information deleted. This applies to information collected through grapedawn.tech, through gdwa, and through messages exchanged with us or with a business that uses our services, including over WhatsApp.

Verified requests are completed within 7 days.

2. What can be deleted

You may ask us to delete any or all of the following:

  • WhatsApp conversation data: your phone number, profile name and the messages exchanged with you;
  • Enquiry and contact details: information you submitted through our website or sent to us directly;
  • Account information: your gdwa user account and profile.

3. Submit a request

Complete the form below. Provide the email address or phone number that we hold for you, so that we can locate your information.

5. What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement. You receive a reference number as soon as the form is submitted.
  2. Verification.We may contact you to confirm your identity, so that information is never deleted at someone else's request.
  3. Deletion. We delete the information from our systems within 7 days of verifying your request.
  4. Confirmation. We write to you once the deletion is complete, or explain the reason if any part of the request cannot be fulfilled.

You can ask about the status of a request at any time by quoting your reference number.

6. Information we may keep

We may retain limited information where we are required to do so by law, for example invoicing and tax records, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim. Where this applies, we will tell you what is being kept and why, and it will not be used for any other purpose.

Messages you have sent over WhatsApp are also held by Meta under its own policies. Deleting your information from our systems does not remove the copies on your own device.
